AJ Bellabona
AJ Bellabona is the founder of AJ Made, a jewelry company he began at the age of 12 after discovering a passion for working with mixed metals. As a dyslexic learner, AJ found traditional school environments challenging, but developed confidence through hands-on craftsmanship, evolving from working with pewter to creating pieces in fine silver, gold, and precious gems. Seeing the interest in his pieces led AJ to start his company. He made his first wedding band at 13 and trademarked his brand by age 16, incorporating a reversed “j” in the logo to reflect his dyslexic advantage.
AJ Made pieces are now sold in lifestyle boutiques across the United States and internationally. He continues to grow the business with a focus on sustainable practices and draws inspiration for new collections through travel. AJ is currently a student at Skidmore College, where he serves as president of the college’s EMS agency while balancing his studies in business, entrepreneurship, and studio art.
