Gordon Uehling III is the co-founder of Person First, a nonprofit he built alongside renowned performance coach Dr. Jim Loehr, focused on developing character, resilience, and purpose in athletes on and off the court. A dyslexic leader, Gordon draws on his lived experience to champion the creativity, vision, and unique strengths associated with dyslexia.

A former world-ranked professional tennis player, Gordon was honored by the United States Olympic Committee and the United States Tennis Association in 2013 for his contributions to the sport. He competed alongside top-ranked players including Pete Sampras, Jim Courier, and Todd Martin.

Gordon is also the founder of CourtSense, a leading tennis development program, and has worked with top players including Novak Djokovic. He was a key member of Christina McHale’s coaching team from age 12 through her early professional career and has supported athletes across the ATP and WTA tours. He is also the co-founder of GOTTA Tennis, an education platform providing tools, data, and resources to players and coaches worldwide. His work is driven by a lifelong belief that the person always comes before the player.
